Kim Vesey is a compassionate, gifted, and experienced speaker who meets people wherever they are in their grief journey, regardless of their religious beliefs or backgrounds.
She understands that navigating grief can be one of life’s most challenging journeys. Whether you’re an individual coping with personal loss or an organization, funeral home, medical facility, community, or school seeking to support grieving employees or clients, our mission is to provide guidance, compassion, and practical strategies to navigate the complexities of grief.
With a background as a hospice nurse and her own experiences of profound loss, including the deaths of her husband and daughter, Kim brings a unique blend of empathy, expertise, and insight to her work.
Her speaking engagements, workshops, and consultations are characterized by authenticity and empathy, drawing from her personal wisdom and professional expertise. Kim empowers individuals to embrace their grief as an act of love. She speaks poignantly about grieving as an act of love.
Kim empowers and “gives permission” for others to grieve and to allow themselves to grieve for as long as they need or in ways that good-intentioned family and friends may not understand—a relief to many who have heard her speak at our parish over the years.
Through her words, Kim helps people make sense of their feelings, regain a sense of control, and reconnect with the healing power of compassion, including the compassion of Jesus Christ. Drawing on biblical teachings, such as the beatitude “Blessed are they who mourn” (Matthew 5:4, NABRE), she offers hope and comfort to those who feel hopeless.
For leaders of bereavement ministries or other faith-based organizations seeking a compassionate and credible facilitator, Kim Vesey offers a beacon of hope for those navigating the complexities of grief. Her commitment to embracing life abundantly, inspired by the words of Jesus in John 10:10 (NABRE), makes her a valuable resource for anyone seeking support and guidance through the grieving process.
