A beautifully illustrated children’s book helping siblings cope with the loss of a sister. Faith-filled story with practical guidance for families.

Ages 4–7 • 47 pages • Paperback

What Cloud Is My Sister In? is a compassionate, hope- and faith-centered children’s book created to help siblings navigate the loss of a sister. Because the death of a child is not simply an ending but the beginning of a lifelong grief journey, this story gently walks alongside grieving brothers and sisters as they process their loss.

Whether the loss occurred at birth, during childhood, or in the teen years, siblings often struggle to find words for their pain. Through this tender story, children and the adults who love them are invited into a two-day grief camp experience designed especially for grieving siblings.

At camp, three young turtles meet. Each has lost a sister:

  • Snappy’s teenage sister, Sarah

  • Speedy’s newborn sister, Harper

  • Shelly’s young sister, Layla

As they participate in camp activities and share their stories, the turtles form meaningful friendships. Along the way, they learn that remembering may bring tears, yet it can also bring laughter and joy. Speedy discovers that even though he didn’t have time to make memories with his baby sister, he can imagine what life might have been like with her.

By the end of camp, the three friends realize that their sisters will always remain with them — in their hearts and in their minds.

In addition to its powerful narrative, this book provides practical recommendations for siblings and caregivers, including:

  • Honoring and remembering their sister

  • Creating tangible keepsakes

  • Sharing openly about grief

  • Healing together through sacred storytelling

This beautifully illustrated book offers comfort, validation, and hope for families walking through sibling loss.
